Starting Out With Visual Basic 2008 Update (4th Edition) ReviewWe are using this book in school. The chapters are very long & with little substance. I actually had to purchase another book which had 1/2 the pages and the content was a lot more relevant and clearer. It seems like the author only new about radio buttons because they were used for almost every example. No subject is given great detail and was very simplistic and sometimes disconnected. The disk that came with the book was useless. Only my forms would open and none of the code to the examples. My other class used books by Brown.
