It cuts through the endless debates and draws sharp, clear, and actionable conclusions. Unfortunately, because telecommunications policy is pretty abstruse stuff, not many readers will be all that interested, or stick with the book. For those that do, they will be well rewarded. One word of warning: Robert Crandall does a lot of consulting for the RBOCs, and as a result he is occasionally biased.
